How to volunteer

Get involved!

Why is your involvement in the PTO important? Involvement in the Turlington PTO, allows you, as a parent, to be directly involved in decisions impacting your child's education needs, as well as get to know the administrators, teachers, and other parents that are in your child's life. Additionally, by involving yourself in the PTO, your child will see how important their education and school are to you!

Become a Volunteer

There are numerous ways to get involved. Below are 4 ways you can volunteer at Turlington.

In Person:

Help/plan with campus-wide events and fundraisers. The PTO post requests for volunteers in our Newsletter, website and Facebook page using a link to a SignUpGenius

Grade Level Representative:

Help coordinate activities and help teachers within your child's grade level.

Donations:

When your schedule doesn't allow you to volunteer in person, but would be happy to donate items, $10 gift cards, etc, when needed.

Special skills:

Share your special talent such as construction, painting, design, baking, etc.
