How to become a volunteer?
Thank you for your interest! The first step is to register as a Turlington PTO Volunteer. Let us know how you want to volunteer by filling out the PTO Volunteer Form below. That way PTO can let you know when an event you like is coming up.

Once finished, please continue to fill out the WISD Volunteer online application. Within this online application, you will be required to agree to the Volunteer Oath and fill out a Background Check Authorization Form. To speed up the volunteer process, please upload the background check authorization form before you submit your online application.
How do I request a background check?
Please visit WISD Community/Get Involved page and follow the steps for a background check, required to volunteer at WISD schools. For assistance please contact acornjo@wallerisd.net
How do I sign-up to volunteer in an event?
The PTO post requests for volunteers in our Newsletter, website and Facebook page using a link to a SignUpGenius.
Where do I enter the building when I arrive to volunteer? Do I need my ID?
Bring your identification.
Please check in at the front office before going to your designated volunteer location.
Please wear your volunteer badge on your shirt at all times.
Where do I park?
Visitor parking is available. Please avoid parking on the car rider line.
