Turlington PTO works closely with our administrators and staff to plan campus wide events, organize fundraising efforts for supplies/programs that fall outside the school budget and recruits volunteers to support staff where needed.

Welcome to all our new parents and seasoned parents alike! My name is Nicole Wienken and I am a parent of four, two adult children and two girls at Turlington, a fourth grader and second grader. I am your TES PTO (Turlington Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization) President for the 2024-2025 school year, and I am thrilled to be serving the Turlington community. In addition to myself, I serve alongside an amazing PTO Board, composed of volunteer parents like you, that are already working hard to bring you exciting events over the next year. Any parent or guardian of a student at Turlington Elementary and any and all faculty members currently employed with Waller ISD may become a PTO member. Persons may be eligible to join the organization at any time.
Executive Board Members are eligible to vote. General members and Honorary members do not have voting rights.
Turlington Elementary School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose executive board consists of ten elected members including a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, Bilingual Coordinator, Hospitality Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Technology Coordinator, and Turlington Beautiful Coordinator.
Turlington Elementary School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose executive board consists of ten elected members including a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, Bilingual Coordinator, Hospitality Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Technology Coordinator, and Turlington Beautiful Coordinator.
In keeping with our by-laws, the board recruits membership in the PTO, oversees various committees and fundraising in an official capacity, makes decisions about disbursement of PTO funds, responds to teacher and staff requests for PTO assistance and communicates PTO actions at member meetings. These responsibilities are divided among the Board members.
