How we use our funds
How we use our funds
Our Waller community is growing faster than ever, and your involvement and community partnerships are key to growing our projects and offerings for the TES family. We host two primary fundraising events throughout the school year, spirit night, spirit shop and seasonal grams. We also rely on the generous donations of our Community and Family Partners to support our Bulldogs.
The funds pay for things such as:
Hospitality for staff, families and students (Teacher Appreciation Events, Movie Nights)
Physical school improvements (Playground upgrades, Outdoor Learning Program, Staff Lounge Remodel)
Classroom Supplies Allowances (Books, Specials Materials)
School Programs (Kindness week, Earth day)
Grade Level Ceremonies
and much, much more!

FALL 2022 - SPRING 2023
New Music Room Items
PTO used the profits from the music program concession stands to purchase much needed items for Mrs. Brooks’ Music classroom! We added sound and action games, new keyboards, keyboard note labels and stools!
🎶A Note From Mrs. Brooks:🎶
“What an amazing addition to our music classroom! The keyboard stands have helped our students enjoy playing keyboards / much easier to play since they are not on the floor. Our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders have been listening, learning, and laughing with our new Station Rotations!”♥️🐾

Food Drive
Turlington Beautiful hosted its first event of the 2021-2022 school year by organizing a Food Drive for Turlington Elementary School. The purpose was to help feed 70 families in our community as well as teach the students the importance of giving back and volunteering.
Thanks to the amazing generosity of our Turlington families, we collected 8,629 food items! Boxes were distributed confidentially to families. We couldn’t have done this without the hard work of many parent volunteers and student volunteers!
Staff Lounge Remodel
TES administration tasked the PTO with remodeling the Staff Lounge. We would like to thank our business partners and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to support this project! we had a great time and are so proud of the end result! Special thanks to Nikki Dincans and Ashley Duran (co-chairs).
SUMMER 2020
Outdoor learning classroom remodel
TES administration tasked the PTO with remodeling the Outdoor Learning Classroom to promote creativity, build confidence and encourage physical activity. The concrete was sandblasted to remove worn images and prevent slipping, an activity path and games were painted on the concrete and new sports equipment was purchased. The money we raised during the 2019-2020 was used for this remodel! Thank you to all the families who participated in our fundraisers and attended our events. We could not accomplish our goal without the commitment, support and enthusiasm of our teachers and staff. Special thanks to Nikki Dincans (Coordinator), Ashley Duran, Michelle Jendral, Lacy Kuhn, Kelsey Lance, Tiffany Malek, Georgette Smith and Nancy Tryon.
